In Pereyaslav in the Kiev region, a drunk man opened fire from a homemade gun.
According to the police, the incident occurred on the territory of a fishing base.
“During a sudden conflict, an intoxicated offender fired a shot from a homemade gun in the direction of a 37-year-old man’s car, damaging the driver’s side door,” law enforcement officers said.
Then the defendant broke the car windows with the butt of a weapon, threw the gun into the river and began threatening the surrounding people with a grenade. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

The police detained a 50-year-old man; it turned out that he had a previous conviction. The offender was placed in a temporary detention center and reported a suspicion under Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code. He faces up to 7 years in prison.
