The Russian military shelled the Kharkiv region during the day on May 24th. As a result of the attack, civilians were killed and injured.

  • three people from the villages of Savintsy and Shevchenkovo, in the Izyum district.

Occupants shelled Udy almost all night

The Russian military continuously shelled the village of Udy in the Zolochevsky district from midnight until 5 am on May 25. The invaders fired from artillery.

The head of the community, Viktor Kovalenko, said that a 53-year-old man died as a result of the attack, Public writes. It is known that during the shelling, a local resident was hiding in the cellar. One of the enemy shells hit his house and started a fire. Because of the destruction, the owner could not get to the surface and eels.

According to Kovalenko, due to constant shelling, 90% of the population were forced to leave the village. Out of more than 1,200 people, only 150 now live there.

Let's note that living in the village is dangerous, because it is located only 5 kilometers from the border with Russia. The occupiers often fire at Udy from their territory.
