On August 25, in St. Petersburg, an unknown Russian attacked Palestinian journalist Rania Dridi during a live broadcast on a TV channel. Her husband demanded that she speak Russian, and then hit her on the head. As a result of the blow, the journalist was diagnosed with a concussion, a closed craniocerebral injury and a contusion of the soft tissues of the right temporal region.

It is reported that the attacker was a fair-haired man without stubble, about 180-190 centimeters tall. The man appeared to be 30-33 years old. He faces 2 years in prison. The incident took place near the Wagner Center.

Russians persecute Ukrainian journalists
