In some positions, the Russians used almost all the ammunition, but it's too early to rejoice, – Venislavsky

The Russian military does not stop shelling both civilian infrastructure and positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Particular activity has been observed in the Kherson region in recent days.

This was stated by the People's Deputy, member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence Fyodor Venislavsky during the telethon. At the same time, he noted that the occupiers failed to achieve success at the front over the past day.

The enemy still runs out of accurate missiles

Before Venislavsky noted that the situation at the front remains difficult. This is due to the fact that the enemy really has a lot of ammunition. And, despite the fact that he does not feel sorry for them, it is too early to talk about the depletion of reserves.

Venislavsky stressed that he would not be an optimist on issues related to the shortage of ammunition from the enemy. He noted that the Russian military had indeed spent a large number of its “vaunted” high-precision missiles. Moreover, less than 30% remained in some positions.

As he noted, such an amount is emergency reserve for any army in the world. It is kept to protect themselves against potential threats.

At the same time, with the latest missileskafirs really have problems. Currently, the Russian military is looking for options for import substitution. Indeed, due to the sanctions imposed on Russia, it is no longer possible to install microcircuits in missiles.

There is still a lot of Soviet ammunition

But it should also be understood that there is a lot of Soviet-style ammunition left in Russia . Venislavsky, referring to the Main Intelligence Directorate and other intelligence agencies, noted that they are brought from the Far East, the Urals, Primorsky Krai. Echelons with ammunition go to Ukraine from those territories. So there are still enough artillery shells in the military of the aggressor country not to spare them during attacks on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Recall that Vladimir Putin gave the order to reach the administrative borders of the Donetsk region until September 15. This means that in the coming days there may be fierce fighting there. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy is concentrating maximum efforts on the Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions in the Donetsk region.
