German howitzers that were supposed to go to Slovakia for repairs were at the border. Slovakia assures that this is not its responsibility.
Defense Minister Jaroslav Nagy said that problems with the repair of weapons were due to German contractors. According to him, Slovakia has fulfilled all its obligations.
“We informed the German side about this. The German Ministry of Defense and the chancellor's office took adequate measures. The situation has moved forward, and I no longer I see problems in this. I have no information that some equipment would be at the border for weeks,” the minister said.
There are no more problems
As Nagy noted, German journalists reported on the high amount of customs duties. However, this problem was quickly resolved.
The questions were very different. They will be allowed after the German company responsible for this completes its task,” the minister said.
Slovakia has recognized Russia as a terrorist
On February 16, the Slovak Parliament recognized the Putin regime as a terrorist one, and Russia as a state supporting terrorism. The deputies condemned nuclear blackmail and attacks on the civilian population. In addition, the government decree refers to the hybrid war that Russia is waging on the territory of Slovakia.
“The Parliament also expressed support for the efforts to establish a special tribunal for the prosecution of crimes of aggression and support for the prosecution of crimes against humanity and war crimes,” the government press service added.
