Invaders destroyed a humanitarian aid center in Severodonetsk/Social networks
Yesterday, April 11, the enemy fired at one of the humanitarian aid centers in Severodonetsk, which was created by volunteers.
According to the head of the Luhansk OVA, Sergei Gaidai, 8 shells hit the premises of the former DSK, where the center was equipped.
The head of the Lugansk Association of Organizations for Persons with Disabilities, Nikolay Nadulichny, who is one of the organizers of the network of humanitarian centers in Severodonetsk and Lysichansk, said that as a result of the shelling, there was a significant fire in the warehouse, walls destroyed. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
300 people were fed daily
The center fed up to 300 people daily and provided food and hygiene products for bedridden sick people . Public activists daily formed kits for people with limited mobility and delivered them by car or even on bicycles or on foot, Nadulichny said.
One of the activists of the humanitarian aid center said that volunteers, risking their lives, brought them to Severodonetsk medicines, food, baby food and hygiene products. This helps people and children to survive.
The address of the center was not reported
Understanding that the occupiers are aiming at food facilities, the volunteers did not announce the address of distribution in social networks.
“We went and invited people personally to protect ourselves and them. We are stunned, but not broken! We will work and feed people,” the activist said.
