Children in a Russian kindergarten were given diplomas with the coat of arms of Ukraine. However, the head and teacher of the institution were fired.
Charters with coats of arms were issued to children for participating in a competition in Chita. Local authorities said, they say, “the situation is unacceptable.” Russian media write about this, channel 24 reports.
How the Russians explained the dismissal
In Russia they say that the teachers were fired due to “carelessness and irresponsible attitude to professional activities.” Moreover, because of the certificates in the kindergarten, an inspection was initiated.
Local authorities say they are going to “strengthen information work among the heads of educational institutions, preschool and pedagogical workers.”
Employee and head of the kindergarten dismissed from their positions, Russian officials said.

- In Russian kindergarten No. 73, pets were given certificates with the coat of arms of Ukraine.
- The father of one of the pupils said that on the morning of August 30, the contest “Mr. and Miss Summer 2022” was held there. They handed out such letters.
