In April, the occupiers captured most of the city, and in May it was completely captured. However, they decided to bury the dead civilians, whose bodies were right on the streets, only in August.

the invaders decided to bury the remains in the very heat

Sergei Gaidai stressed that, for unknown reasons, the occupiers decided to wait for the greatest heat and then bury the bodies of the killed civilians. Therefore, the head of the Luhansk OVO suggested that we simply do not know about many of the dead.

I would like to ask – and later it was impossible to start? The Russians seized a large area of the city back in April. Was it really necessary to wait for the hottest weather? Almost four months have passed, and they have just begun to collect the bodies that are still lying in the middle of the streets,” Gaidai emphasized.

The situation in the Lugansk region

< p> On the air of the nationwide telethon Sergei Gaidai said that the situation in the Luhansk region is critical. The invaders, taking advantage of the difficult situation of civilians, are agitating them to go to a pseudo-referendum for food rations.

The head of the Luhansk OVA emphasized that it is almost impossible to resume heat supply in the Luhansk region. Theoretically, large cities affected by hostilities – Severodonetsky, Lisichansky, Rubizhny, Popasnaya, Kamensky – can be supplied with gas, but the infrastructure of the cities has been destroyed, so it cannot be restored before the onset of cold weather. At the same time, residents of the Luhansk region can no longer evacuate, since there are no humanitarian corridors.

At the same time, the invaders decided instead of the heating season to prepare for a pseudo-referendum and agitate local residents. However, Sergei Gaidai noted that the invaders could falsify the results. The head of the UVA emphasized that many consider the inhabitants of the Luhansk region to be pro-Russian, however, after a full-scale invasion of the territory of the region, which was under the control of Ukraine as of February 24, in many communities people with Ukrainian flags went to rallies against the occupation.

However, in order to falsely demonstrate the situation in the region, the occupiers brought several people, with whom they filmed propaganda stories about the alleged fact that the inhabitants of the Lugansk region were “waiting” for the occupiers.
