В ответ на блокаду Польши: украинские водители перекрыли дороги в польских городах

In the Polish city of Przemysl and at the entrance to the border town of Medyka, traffic jams formed due to checkpoints of concerned Ukrainians who protested in response to Polish carriers blocking the Polish-Ukrainian border to prevent carriers from Ukraine from entering.

The Polish publication RMF FM writes about this.

The publication writes that one of the actions took place at the Lech Kaczynski roundabout in Przemysl. This is the eastern outskirts of the city. National Road No. 28 passes through it, leading to the border crossing at Medyka.

The Przemysl police indicate that we are talking about a group of about 30 people who from time to time enter pedestrian crossings, blocking traffic.

The protest in Medyka followed an identical scenario. Drivers were entering the Polish national highway.

As RMF FM notes, police were at the scene. The protests took place in a peaceful atmosphere, and their initiators did not hide the fact that this was done in response to the fact that Polish drivers were blocking the passage of Ukrainian trucks.

Protest of Polish carriers

Since the beginning of November, a protest action by Polish carriers has been taking place on the Polish-Ukrainian border. They demand, in particular, the introduction of commercial permits for Ukrainian companies to transport goods, with the exception of humanitarian aid and goods for the Ukrainian army, the suspension of licenses for companies that were created after the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, and their inspection.

On Monday, the Polish Ministry of Infrastructure reported that it had approached Ukraine with a proposal to resolve the situation with the blockade on the border.
