In Poland's Lubelskie Voivodeship on Christmas Day, December 25, a bus ran over a 55-year-old driver who was changing a tire to death.
A Polish publication reported that the tragedy occurred on the Polish national road No. 48 between Moschanka and Kock.
Details of the tragedy
A passenger bus driver tried to change a tire in a vehicle. Suddenly the bus started moving and crushed the man. The Ukrainian died from his injuries.
It is noted that the bus with passengers was heading to Ukraine.
Some of the people moved to another bus, the rest of the passengers were waiting in the middle of the road, a tent was set up for them. Subsequently, people were sent to a warm place, where they waited while the bus was being repaired.
Polish police are investigating the causes of the crash.
Recent accidents in Poland
- On November 13, a bus and a car collided in the village of Dembi. One person died in the incident.
- In July, a drunk driver of a Nissan drove into a Volkswagen Transporter minibus. As a result of the accident, 10 people were injured, including 7 Ukrainians. Unfortunately, one Ukrainian died.
- One of the most tragic recent accidents in Poland was the tragedy near the Polish city of Kosice on March 6th. Then the driver of the regular bus Poznan – Kherson lost control. There were 57 Ukrainians in the cabin: 55 passengers and 2 drivers. As a result of a terrible accident, 5 people died on the spot, another 34 people were injured. Subsequently, the number of victims rose to 8.
