In the Polish town of Pushchikovo, 42-year-old Ukrainian Sergei T., originally from the Vinnitsa region, killed his 29-year-old wife Yulia and two daughters – 4 and 1.5 years old. The man lived with the bodies of those killed in the house for another five days.

The man dreamed of being a chef since childhood. He went to Moscow to study, and there he worked in elite restaurants. Upon returning to Ukraine, he worked as a chef at the Kazatin restaurant in Vinnytsia region. It was there that he met Julia, with whom he fell in love.

In 2018, Sergei came to Poland and got a job in an exclusive restaurant. A year later, his wife Julia came to the man. The couple had two daughters. Julia also had a son from a previous marriage.
The family rented a house in the town of Puszczykowo near Poznan. We lived normally – the husband worked, the wife took care of the children. The girls went to kindergarten, and the son went to school.
But subsequently Sergei began to drink, because of this he lost his job and had debts. There were constant quarrels in the family. It was during one of the quarrels on November 13 that Sergei killed his wife Yulia and young daughters.

At the Poznan prosecutor's office, Sergei admitted that he strangled his wife with his hands while she was sleeping; He didn’t want to touch the children, but they woke up and he strangled them too. The 11-year-old son was sleeping in another room at that time, the man did not touch him. The man told the boy that his mother and sisters fell ill with Covid and were taken to the hospital. But in fact, three bodies lay in the house for another five days.

Subsequently, Sergei took Yulia’s son and went with him to the shopping center, where he approached the security guard and confessed to what he had done. The police arrested the man. Now he faces life imprisonment.
