An emergency happened yesterday, July 5, in Transcarpathia. There, a mobilized man escaped from one of the military units. Before receiving the combat summons, the man served as a deacon of the Khust diocese of the UOC (MP).

As journalist Vitaly Glagola reports, the fugitive’s name is Vladimir Petrovtsiy, and he has contradictory family ties.

He fled so as not to fight against “his own”

The fact of Vladimir’s absence was clarified during a personnel check. As it turned out, the man left the military unit without permission. Now the State Bureau of Investigation and the police are looking for him. Probably, Petrovtsy is in Transcarpathia and is hiding in the territory of the Khust diocese. He himself comes from the village of Priborzhavskoye, in the Irshavshchina. avoid service.

According to Glagoly, Vladimir Petrovtsy is the nephew, assistant and personal driver of the head of the Khust diocese – Russian citizen Metropolitan Mark (Petrovtsy).

We note that many representatives of the UOC-MP are mouthpieces of the Kremlin and its aggressive policies. No wonder Moscow agrees to return Ukrainian prisoners in exchange for clergy. Thus, at the end of June, the 53rd prisoner exchange took place, as a result of which the convicted UOC-MP priests Nikolai Zakroyets and Alexander Lunegov were transferred to Russia, and Ukraine returned 90 military personnel and 10 civilians.

Nikolay Zakroets was sentenced to 15 years for treason, and Alexander Lunegov – to 5 years for justifying aggression against Ukraine.
