What is known about the incident in Odessa

Yesterday (February 27 – Channel 24) near the shopping center “Panorama” on Tairova (microdistrict – Channel 24), the police prevented a mass brawl among young people, the report says.

It is known that the participants of the movement wrote in a telegram to the group, which plans on February 27 at 15 o'clock clashes between the two youth movements. Their “opponents” were supposed to be another youth movement “ofniks”.

It should be noted that in many cities of Ukraine the police respond to the planning of fights between these movements. In particular:

  • On February 27 in Lviv, the movement tried to organize a mass brawl in the city center;
  • in Kharkov, the police detained the participants in the movement, because they also planned a brawl. Law enforcement officers were supposed to invite the children's parents to the department and talk to them;
  • in Kyiv, the PPK “Redan” also planned the so-called “action”, namely, skirmishes in Pechersk.

Pay attention ! Channel 24 called the press service of the Odessa police. They promised to place an official comment on the website of the Main Police Department in the Odessa region.

What is known about PPK “Redan”

  • Subculture PPK “Redan” originated in Russia. Her fans believe that they are against football fans, migrants and people from the Caucasus.
  • Members of the subculture wear spider T-shirts and the number 4. This is a reference to the Hunter x Hunter anime.
  • As for the word “PVK” in the title, they say it's a joke. Like, they do not associate themselves with a private military company. The movement is led by a guy named Ali who plays Dota 2 and Counter-Strike.
  • The teens became notorious for getting into skirmishes with football fans in a number of Russian malls in Russia. There have already been fights in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Novosibirsk. Some teenagers were arrested by the police.
  • In Ukraine, they were noticed in Ivano-Frankivsk and other cities, where they planned skirmishes and brawls.
