— The aggressor's target was the port infrastructure. The enemy hit a civilian vessel under the Palau flag with a ballistic missile. A 60-year-old Ukrainian, an employee of a private company that handles cargo, was killed. Five more foreign citizens were injured. Four of them are in moderate condition, one is in mild condition. They are currently receiving the necessary medical care, — the head of the Odessa Regional State Administration wrote in his Telegram.
As reported by the Vice Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine — Minister for the Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Oleksiy Kuleba, over the past two days Russia attacked the second civilian ship located in the ports of the Odessa region.
It is known that these two ships were supposed to transport goods from Ukraine. And the ballistic attack, according to the minister, is a deliberate practice of intimidation and obstruction of the work of the Ukrainian sea corridor.
— In this way, the aggressor is trying to once again destroy shipping in the Black Sea and undermine Ukraine's efforts to ensure food security. The consequence of this can only be increased instability in sensitive regions of the world that depend on food imports, and concern in international relations, Kuleba noted.
