Since April 12, most of the districts of Nikolaev were without centralized water supply. From today, the system has already been adjusted and water has begun to appear in the taps of residents. However, the Nikolaev Regional State Administration warned that it is strictly forbidden to drink this water, since it is technical.
This was announced by the head of the Nikolaev regional state administration Vitaly Kim in his telegram channel. He stressed that there is a threat to end up in an infectious diseases hospital if tap water is used as drinking water.

We will remind, earlier the mayor of Nikolaev Igor Senkevich informed local residents that on May 9 water will start to start up on all city. He also noted that this water should never be drunk or used in cooking. It can only be used for domestic needs.
In particular, Pervomaiskvodokanal recently reported that an accident had occurred on the main conduit of Pervomaisk. As a result, water supply to the Korotchenko microdistrict was temporarily stopped.
They noted that after the completion of repair work and the restoration of water supply, a short-term deterioration in the indicators of drinking water is possible – color and turbidity. The enterprise also apologizes to the residents for such inconvenience.
