In Lviv, workers of the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (TCC and SP) forcibly detained local volunteer Kirill Taran. Ombudsman Dmitry Lubinets expressed outrage at the incident.

The Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights wrote about this in Telegram.

His wife Violetta reported the kidnapping of Kirill Taran, publishing relevant footage. The video shows how TCC representatives grabbed Kirill in the middle of the street and forced him into a minibus. According to Violetta, physical violence was used against her husband, in particular, they beat him, held him in the military registration and enlistment office, threatened him, and also tore his clothes, broke his glasses and phone.

Lubinets noted that the man refused to undergo the IVC due to health problems and the lack of medical documents with him that would confirm this. Kirill's wife says that in the morning an order was already ready for her husband and he was sent to a training ground in the city of Rivne.

— Police — inactive. There are statements. The VSP task force (military law enforcement service, — RED.) arrived at the scene, but did not provide any explanations, — Violetta added.

The representative of the Ombudsman in the Lviv region, Taras Podvorny, responded to the situation. A meeting was held with the regional TCC. They decided to assign Kirill Taran a second pass through the VLK.

Head of the Lvov Regional TsK and JV Artur Niyazov agreed that there was a violation. He added that an official investigation has been ordered into the incident, as a result of which the perpetrators will be brought to justice.

— I emphasize once again that forceful detentions of conscripts, beatings, threats, intimidation — this is unacceptable, this should not happen in our democratic society, — Lubinets summed up.

He also appealed to the military command authorities to strengthen control and strict compliance with the requirements of the law during mobilization, military registration of citizens and their passing through the Military Military Commissariat.

Scandals with TCC representatives

Previously, at the military registration and enlistment office in the city of Khust, Transcarpathian region, a man tried to commit suicide.

As reported by the TCC, the man was detained by border guards while attempting to illegally cross the border.

The men close to him claim that he was kidnapped from a hotel in Vinogradov, and then began to be accused of trying to cross the border. According to relatives, the man tried to commit suicide because he could not stand the threats and beatings.
