He pretended to help the army and used the trust of citizens to receive money allegedly to purchase equipment for the military.
The suspect promised to purchase and transfer to four servicemen and one volunteer the things necessary for the front: seven cars of different brands, thermal imaging sights and drones.
The money was given to him in advance – partly transferred to personal bank accounts, partly through electronic payment systems. However, he never delivered anything promised to the front, and used the money he received at his own discretion.
As a result of fraudulent actions, the victims lost a total of almost 1.3 million UAH. Law enforcement officers documented the facts of deception of five people.
Based on the prosecution's motion, the court chose a preventive measure for the suspect – detention with the possibility of posting bail.
