An accident involving a patrol car occurred in Lviv on Friday, November 17. A service vehicle ran over a man, as a result of which he died in hospital.
This was reported by the press service of the Lviv Region Patrol Police.
— This morning on Yavornitsky Street there was a traffic accident involving a service vehicle and a pedestrian. The victim was hospitalized. However, unfortunately, the man died in the hospital, the report says.
They added that all necessary services are working at the scene.

In addition, the Patrol Police Department is conducting an internal investigation. The patrolmen have been suspended from duty and are giving the necessary testimony.
The circumstances of the traffic accident are being established.
The press secretary of the SBI in Lviv, Tatyana Muravel, said in a comment to Suspilny that the age of the deceased was about 70 years. The State Bureau of Investigation opened criminal proceedings on the fact of violation of road safety rules – Part 2 of Art. 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
