On the evening of July 7, on Kovelskaya Street in Lutsk, an unknown man threw a live grenade from his car at people.
The grenade detonated, injuring at least five people.
The explosion was heard by residents of nearby houses, they called an ambulance, the National Police and rescuers.

According to an eyewitness to the incident, Vladimir, at the time of the explosion he was in a car, waiting for a green traffic light at the intersection.
The man claims that the one who threw the grenade at people — military.
— There was an argument between the bus driver and that military man. They argued and he quit. People were injured, many people, — Vladimir told Suspilny’s journalists.
A local resident named Vitaly, who arrived at the scene after the explosion, confirmed that disagreements had arisen between the drivers: they allegedly could not share the road.
— They began to find out the situation at the traffic light. The driver of the white bus is said to have broken the phone of a military man. And the military man could not stand it and threw a grenade. This was told by witnesses who saw everything, — he pointed out.
According to the National Police, the man who apparently threw the grenade at people has been detained.
Law enforcement officers have not yet reported the details of the incident, as investigative measures are being carried out.
