“An hour ago in Lugansk, our colleague, deputy of the people’s council of the LPR, former chairman of the JCCC of the LPR, former head of the department of the people’s militia of the LPR, the man who stood at the origins of the creation of the people’s militia of the republic, Colonel Mikhail Yuryevich Filiponenko, tragically died,” wrote a deputy of the “council of the LPR” Yuri Yurov.
RosSMI writes that an explosive device went off in the collaborator’s car.

What is known about the liquidated collaborator
Filiponenko was born in 1975 in Lugansk, graduated from the Kiev National University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, and unsuccessfully ran for the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from the New Politics party.
Since 2014, he served in the so-called “people's militia of the LPR” and participated in hostilities. Since 2017, he “acted as head of the LPR People’s Militia Department.”
In September 2023, he was elected “deputy of the People’s Council of the LPR.”
On October 7, in the occupied Novaya Kakhovka, Kherson region, the car of the head of the local branch of Putin’s United Russia, Vladimir Malov, exploded.
