In early October, the Armed Forces liberated Liman in the Donetsk region. Then information began to appear about the atrocities committed by the invaders in this territory. In particular, it is already known that minors died because of their actions.
On the morning of October 18, the National Police of Donetsk Region wrote that they were conducting an investigation at the mass grave site in Liman. The message about the exhumation of bodies appears not for the first time, earlier the security forces also announced this.
What is known about the discovery of murdered children in Liman
Ukraine daily records new war crimes committed by Russia in the occupied territories before their liberation. The security forces report that they found 4 murdered children at the local cemetery. Mom buried another boy in her yard.
The police took girls born in 2021, 2019 and 2008 and boys born in 2011 and 2012 from spontaneous graves. The two little girls are sisters. After a forensic medical examination, the children will be reburied,” the structure’s press service wrote.
Important! According to preliminary information, all the children died from shrapnel wounds due to Russian shelling.
Law enforcement officers continue to exhume the bodies
For two weeks after the liberation of Liman, investigations continue in the de-occupied settlement, including on the spot the largest mass grave in the Donetsk region.
In addition, law enforcement officers seize bodies from single burials in yards and gardens. In fact, the investigative-operational groups of the security forces work continuously. They are looking for and interrogating relatives, establishing the history of all the dead.
As of the morning of October 18, 35 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and 131 civilians were exhumed in the Kramatorsk region. Among the civilians – 67 men, 56 women, 5 children, the sex of 6 people is not established. Measures are ongoing to identify the dead and establish the causes of their death, the police noted.
Pay attention! According to law enforcement officers, 45 graves were found in the region. Of these, 33 are in Svyatogorsk and 12 are in Liman. This data is not final, because every day the police receive information from residents about new graves. In recent days, 17 more burials have been discovered.
Recall, Officially, Liman's dismissal became known on October 2. Vladimir Zelensky then noted that the city was completely cleared of Russian infidels.
