Representatives of the Redan teenage subculture organize fights and oppose football fans, migrants and people from the Caucasus. They planned to organize clashes in Pechersk.
This was reported in the Main Department of the National Police of Kyiv. They noted that the youth subculture that promotes mass fights is widespread primarily in Russia.
“Today, February 27, in Pechersk, thanks to the timely response of juvenile police officers, analysts of the capital's central office, operatives and district conflicts, it was possible to prevent them. The participants were taken to the police department to identify individuals and clarify the circumstances,” law enforcement officers noted.
Involved Russia
According to the police, Russian propagandists were involved in organizing mass fights among teenagers. They tried to use it to destabilize the internal situation in Ukraine.
Kyiv police urge parents to communicate with children, pay attention to their behavior, social circle and ways of spending leisure time, law enforcement officers emphasized.
Redan representatives detained in Kharkiv
Teenagers from “Redan” wanted to organize a mass brawl in the center of Kharkov on Constitution Square. Volodymyr Tymoshko, head of the GDNP in the Kharkiv region, said that preventive conversations would be held with the parents of minors.
“Russian killers and marauders launched a flash mob for teenagers, which was supposed to result in a mass brawl. The police promptly detained all the young men involved in this dangerous game,” Tymoshko said.
What is known about the Redan movement
- Representatives of Redan call themselves informals, but they call themselves PVK (private military company).
- Founded “Redan” guy Ali. There is not much information about him. He is known to play both Dota 2 and Counter-Strike.
- The subculture includes anime fans. They wear spider t-shirts and the number 4 (an allusion to the Hunter x Hunter anime).
- A video has appeared on TikTok showing Redan representatives running around in the center of Ivano-Frankivsk.
