The air quality in the capital has deteriorated almost to the maximum limit. Therefore, the people of Kiev were urged to stay indoors.
The content of dust in the air has increased dramatically. It is known that the source of particle formation is outside the territorial boundaries of Kyiv. And the dust moved from the southeast direction. This was reported in the Kyiv City State Administration on August 22 at about 15.30.
In Kyiv, the air has become harmful
Contents on the left bank dust is 392 micrograms per cubic meter, and on the right – 339 units. Meanwhile, the allowable rate is 500 micrograms per cubic meter.
Exceeding the level of other harmful substances in the air (nitrogen oxide and dioxide, sulfur oxide, ozone, formaldehyde, carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide) was not detected.
The Kyiv City State Administration recommends adhering to the following rules to improve the situation:
- close the windows of the house;
- do not go out unnecessarily;
- drink plenty of water ;
- if there is an air cleaner, then turn it on to the maximum.
