In the Mikhailovsky Cathedral in Kyiv today, April 4, a farewell ceremony began for Ukrainian photographer and documentary maker Max Levin.
He died at the hands of Russian invaders. On April 1, the police found the body of Levin, who worked in the war zone.
The funeral service was led by the Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, Metropolitan of Kyiv and All Ukraine Epiphanius. Already at 14:00, a farewell to Max will take place at the new cemetery in Boyarka.
Levin's relatives, colleagues, military brothers and government officials came to the temple to pay their last respects to the deceased.

April 1, the body of the deceased Levin was found near the village of Guta Mezhigorskaya. According to the prosecutor's office, the journalist was killed by two shots from small arms.
He was not afraid to work in hot spots
Max Levin was not afraid to work in really hot spots. He has photo reports from the Revolution of Dignity, the Ukrainian-Russian war since 2014. In particular, he was leaving the Ilovaisky cauldron together with the Ukrainian military.
The photojournalist was married. He was survived by four minor sons, a wife and elderly parents. In 2015, Petro Poroshenko awarded Maksim Levin with the Order of Merit, III degree.
