A Ukrainian military man and journalist died on June 10.
Aleksey Chubashev was the author of the Recruit UA program, directed Army FM and the Military Television of Ukraine.
He did a lot to raise the morale of the Ukrainian military. And from the first days of a full-scale war, he went to the front.
As journalist Yana Kholodnaya wrote, Alexey “lived in the army.” The military man was a strong spirit and at the same time a loving father.
The first military reality show “RekrutUA”. I will never forget how you came up with this idea, you burned with it. The first were the MTR, then the landing, then the Marines. You have done a lot of useful things for the army with these projects. You lived in the army, you grew up professionally in the studio and could do a lot of useful things on TV, but on February 24 you chose a different path, – Yana Kholodnaya wrote on the day the defender died.
Short biography of Alexei Chubashev
- In 2010, Alexey Chubashev entered the military journalism at the Military Institute of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
- In 2015, he began to serve in the Central Television and Radio Studio of the Ministry of Defense.
- Chubashev was the author and host of Ukraine's first military reality show “Recruit.UA”.
- On the YouTube page of the 24 channel project “Know 24” you can watch his programs “Recruit.UA. SOF”, “Recruit. UA. Marine Corps” and “Recruit. UA. Landing”.
- On February 28, 2021, Chubashev's second officer's contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine ended. He did not continue and was transferred to the reserve. He returned to the front already from the beginning of a full-scale war.
Pay attention! Since the beginning of a full-scale war in Ukraine, 32 media workers have died. Some of them fought against the invaders in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, some were kidnapped and tortured by the invaders, and some died as a result of enemy shelling.
