Police officers in Kyiv have detained a production manager where an explosion occurred earlier. As a result of the tragedy in the Darnitsa district, four people died, and another 5 were injured.
There, according to preliminary data, a gas cylinder exploded in the production room.
The police found out that the acting manager of the enterprise, a 65-year-old man, violated safety rules at work, resulting in an explosion. Investigators detained the suspect and now investigators are working with him.
Law enforcement officers have launched criminal proceedings under article 272 on violation of safety rules during work with increased danger, which caused death of people or other serious consequences. The man faces up to eight years in prison.

On February 9, at about 15:40, an explosion occurred in the one-story building of the former factory, followed by the destruction of the building. As a result, 4 employees died, and five more people with injuries of varying severity were hospitalized.
Rescuers immediately arrived at the scene. About 100 people of the State Emergency Service personnel worked there. People were taken out from under the rubble.

- In Kyiv on December 9, an explosion occurred near the Vasylkivska metro station in the Goloseevsky district. As a result, 5 people were injured. The explosion occurred in a metal kiosk for fast food preparation. A fire broke out, engulfing 2 kiosks.
- And on the evening of December 18, in Brovary near Kyiv, an explosion occurred in one of the stores. The gas cylinder or generator probably exploded. Eyewitnesses write online that the incident occurred in the Lesnoy Kvartal residential complex store.
