Ukrainian air defense forces shot down a missile and an enemy “Shahid” in the Khmelnytsky region

The air defense systems worked well in the Khmelnytsky region. During a massive missile attack on the morning of February 10, 1 cruise missile and 1 kamikaze drone were shot down.

Unfortunately, the enemy hit a critical infrastructure facility – a fire broke out at the site of impact, but the fire has already been extinguished. This was reported in the local OVA.

What is the situation in Khmelnytsky

What are the consequences of the enemy attack in Khmelnytsky, mayor Oleksandr Simchyshyn told live on the Rada TV channel. According to the mayor of the city, during the morning attack, the Russians again tried to attack the region with missiles and Shahids.

Unfortunately, one of the enemy's missiles flew into one of the energy infrastructure facilities of the Khmelnitsky territorial community. The object is badly damaged.

This is the fifth hit on the energy infrastructure in the region in recent months. The enemy is cynically trying to leave Ukrainians without light and heat during the cold season.

There are damaged residential buildings, several dozen windows, damaged roofs. Part of the city, about 50%, was left without electricity, – the mayor spoke about the consequences of the hit.

However, Oleksandr Simchishin added that the region was actively preparing for the intrigues of the enemy, so even though the residents of Khmelnytsky got hit, all boiler houses are working, there is heat and water. True, electric transport is temporarily out of service due to significant power outages.
