In temporarily occupied Kherson, the Russian military wants to give prisoners weapons. Having forced them to fight against the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy groups seek to make up for their losses in personnel.

This was announced on May 9 by the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights Lyudmila Denisova. According to her, there are more than 2 thousand such prisoners in the city.

Ukrainian prisoners will become cannon fodder: what is known about the plans of infidels

There are pre-trial detention center, as well as three prisons, and now a dangerous situation has developed around the prisoners in them. It is reported that the infidels want to give the prisoners weapons and force them to fight.

700 hard workers live in these prison towns. They still have food and water. And they keep. After all, if they leave these institutions, the prisoners will definitely be taken away,” says Denisova.

She adds that infidels are creating dungeons in Kherson. Now, for example, the former mayor of the city has been arrested. People are grabbed right on the streets, they disappear. Some are forcibly mobilized.

The Russian military wants to put prisoners at the front of their army like cannon fodder. And imagine what this will mean for the Ukrainian army, which cannot shoot at its own people, who are forced to go against them, – adds the Ombudswoman.

What else Denisova said: briefly

< li> A hotline is operating in Ukraine, now it has received 33.5 thousand calls.
  • With the support of UNICEF, a psychological support line has been operating since April 1. As of April 8, we received 830 calls.
  • Azovstal remains under Ukrainian control. Witnesses from Mariupol who call the hotline say that Russia is now trying to destroy evidence of its crimes. Thus, it is known that near Mariupol there is a mass grave 300 meters in size.
  • More than 200 thousand Mariupol residents were forcibly deported from Ukraine to Russia. Before that, they go through filtration camps. The fate of people who did not pass these camps is unknown. More than 16,000 Ukrainians are on the wanted list, a quarter of them are residents of Mariupol
  • More than 100 Ukrainian servicemen have already been fired. All of them need mental help.
  • At the same time, in Ukraine, Russian prisoners of war are on the same provision as Ukrainian soldiers.
  • In Ukraine, there are still risks of famine, since from the temporarily occupied territories, a quarter of the stocks for planting have already been taken out, vegetables from warehouses are being exported to the Crimea and the Krasnodar Territory.
