Rescuers managed to remove 250 people from under the rubble in Kharkov/Collage of 24 channels
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Russian military has been attacking Kharkov without regret. Rescuers said that since February 24, more than 150 bodies have already been pulled out from under the rubble.
The head of the main department of the State Emergency Service in the Kharkiv region Anatoly Toryanik told about this during the telethon. He also added that more than 250 people were saved during this time, 24 channels broadcast.
Rescuers cleared the rubble at 98 sites
Toryanik noted that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the rescuers of the Kharkiv garrison of the State Emergency Service have dismantled the rubble at 98 objects. They were destroyed as a result of attacks by the Russian military.
Unfortunately, more than 150 bodies of the dead have been recovered from the rubble. During operational rescue operations, our units rescued more than 250 people . – said Toryanik.
There is no district in Kharkov that would not have suffered at the hands of the enemy. But the biggest attacks were suffered by Northern Saltovka, Pyatikhatki, the village of Zhukovsky, Rogan and Horizons. This, added the head of the State Emergency Service, areas located near the line of collision. Therefore, the Russian military could use them to make artillery, and not just rockets or aircraft.
Unfortunately, there were casualties among the rescuers. A total of five people were killed:
- two rescuers came to tame the fire that broke out as a result of shelling and fell under another enemy attack;
- three sappers;
< li>seven more sappers were injured.
Now it is a lot of work for sappers. According to Toryanik, only in the first days they received 100-200 applications per day. And for almost three months of the war, they went to the place of call more than 4 thousand times and disarmed almost 3 thousand explosive objects left behind by the Russians.
Toryanik added that the sappers did not have time to go to the places accidents, as well as to eliminate shells. And all because the rescuers have already accumulated more than 2 thousand applications from residents.
As for the destruction inflicted by the Russian military in Kharkov, they are colossal. So, in Northern Saltovka, 70% of houses, as well as infrastructure, were destroyed. This was reported in the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. It should be noted that the first shelling of the region by Russian troops began on February 25. And this once again proves the fact that they purposefully destroyed our cities from the beginning of the war.
The situation is even worse in the village of Olkhovka, which the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to dismiss recently. There, according to the head of the Kharkiv OVA Oleg Sinegubov, 90% of the houses were destroyed.
