In Italy, a tourist bus with 30 Ukrainians got into a terrible accident: dozens of victims

The accident occurred on August 25 at about 20:00 on the A4 highway, which runs from Venice to Trieste, near the city of Latisana – between San Giorgio di Nogaro and Udine. According to Italian media, there were about 30 Ukrainian tourists on the bus.

According to reports in local media, the bus is about 30 Ukrainian tourists collided with a Polish truck carrying fruits and vegetables. What caused the accident is still unknown.

10 rescue teams were sent to the crash site. Some of the bus passengers were able to get out on their own, but dozens were trapped in the damaged bus. After a while, rescuers released the victims.

According to preliminary data, at least 4 victims are in critical condition . They were urgently evacuated by helicopters to nearby hospitals. Another 15 people received various injuries, but nothing threatens their lives. According to Italian media, seven children were among the victims.

Another 27 people were not injured in the accident. After they were examined by doctors, the bus passengers were sent to the municipal office of the civil protection service of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region. Currently, the section of the motorway where the accident occurred is blocked so that rescuers can eliminate the consequences of the accident.

Fatal road accident with Ukrainians occurred in Austria

• On August 13, a fatal road accident occurred in Austria, in which Ukrainians died. The minibus on the Polish number plates overturned and fell on a dirt road. In the car were: husband, wife, grandfather, grandmother and 3 children.
• Unfortunately, only three people survived the accident – father, mother and child born in 2009. Grandparents and two other children were killed in the accident.
• Local media claimed that the driver of the van fell asleep for a few seconds as the cause of the fatal accident.
