In France, the Palace of Versailles was evacuated for the seventh time in eight days due to “mining”

On Sunday, October 22, in France at about 12:10, the seventh evacuation in eight days was announced from the Palace of Versailles due to a bomb threat.

This was stated in a message from the castle on Twitter.

– For security reasons, the Palace of Versailles is evacuating visitors and will reopen as soon as checks are completed. Thank you for your understanding,” the message says.

Let us remind you that yesterday visitors and staff were also evacuated from the castle after reports that the building had been mined, however, after a two-hour check by dog handlers and dogs, no explosives were found.
