The Russians continue to mock the civilian population in the temporarily occupied territories. Thus, about 3,000 ZNPP employees were forcibly given the passport of the aggressor country.
This is stated in the morning summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The department notes that the invaders continue to terrorize the civilian population.
Passports issued under duress
The General Staff emphasizes that in the temporarily occupied territories, the Russians continue to put pressure on residents both psychologically and physically. For example, in Energodar, in Zaporozhye, about 3,000 employees of the Zaporizhzhya NPP received Russian passports. Their captors betrayed by force.
But that is not all. The enemy took the hryvnia out of use. Prior to this, the Russians threatened entrepreneurs with fines, as well as seizure of property. According to reports, more and more apartments were seized by the occupiers. They move into the houses of those townspeople who were forced to leave Energodar.
It is interesting that they terrorize not only Ukrainians, but also their own. For example, let's take the Belgorod region, where something constantly explodes. They could not cope with the recruitment of volunteers for the territorial defense forces. The local police have already been called in to carry out the plan.
Law enforcement officers made rounds of apartments and private houses. They are engaged in the census of the male population of military age. But that is not all. Police officers are talking with residents of the Belgorod region. By this they are trying to popularize military service.
What is the situation at Zaporozhye NPP
- Recently, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan talked on the phone with Vladimir Putin. After that, he also spoke with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
- As the head of state noted, in a conversation with a Turkish counterpart, they touched upon the topic of nuclear safety. In particular, the current situation at the Zaporozhye NPP. As Zelensky stressed, there should be no invaders on its territory at all.
- We add that the head of Energoatom Petr Kotin noted who can stop the arbitrariness and terrorism of Russians at the ZNPP. In his opinion, peacekeepers from the UN have such powers. They, Kotin is convinced, could positively influence the situation. If we talk about the IAEA, it has not yet succeeded.
- Finally, let's briefly go over the situation in the region. As mayor Ivan Fedorov noted, there is a tendency for the enemy to flee from Zaporozhye. This is due to the fact that the intensity of the strikes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has increased.
