Occupiers are attacking Dnepropetrovsk region/Armed Forces of Ukraine
Oleksandr Vilkul said that the situation in Krivoy Rog and the region is fully controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The streets are heavily patrolled. Checks are constantly ongoing.
Alexander Vilkul, the head of the Krivoy Rog military administration, said that the Russian occupiers continue shelling. In particular, from “Hurricanes” the enemy hit the Apostol community.
Russian invaders hit the villages of Malaya Kostromka and Annovka. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
The enemy is firing on the line of confrontation from MLRS, cannon artillery, tanks and mortars. What has not been recorded for a long time is the use of military aviation,” Vilkul said.
Nikolay Lukashuk, chairman of the Dnepropetrovsk Regional Council, said that on May 23 the air raid signal sounded a record number of times in the region. Enemies launched several missile strikes.
“Probably, today Dnepropetrovsk region experienced more air raids during one day over the past three months. Today we have several “arrivals” at once,” Lukashuk stressed.
The enemy launched rocket attacks on:
- Pavlograd;
- Sinelnikovsky district;
- Krivoy Rog district.

There is serious damage
Valentin Reznichenko, the head of the Dnepropetrovsk OVA, said that the missile strikes had inflicted serious damage on the area. The enemy hit the railway infrastructure in the Pavlograd and Sinelnikovsky districts.
According to Reznichenko, serious damage to the railway track and contact network has already been recorded. In addition, it is known that in 12 houses nearby, roofs were damaged and windows were broken.
Fortunately, no people were injured. It is not known when trains will resume.

President Volodymyr Zelensky, during an address to Ukrainians on May 23, said that during the full-scale war, Russia launched 1,474 missile strikes on Ukraine. During this time, the aggressor country fired 2275 different missiles. The vast majority of them are on civilian infrastructure.
