On Thursday, January 4, unknown vandals broke the New Year's photo zone and decorations in the center of Chernivtsi. Local children decorated the city for the holidays.
As noted, the police are already involved in the case. After that, holiday locations will need to be dismantled.
How did local authorities react?
The Chernivtsi City Council noted that light and darkness, good and evil are fighting every minute in Ukraine. Therefore, such actions are considered unacceptable in wartime.
This is a vivid example of how rash actions can destroy what others have put their strength and soul into. Nobody's behavior reminds you? This is probably a rhetorical question.

At the New Year's location in Chernivtsi on Philharmonic Square, artificial New Year's bales, as well as broken toys, are scattered. Some of the photozone decorations have disappeared.
In Chernivtsi create a modular town for migrants
- The first blocks of modular houses provided by the Czech Republic arrived in Chernivtsi. It is reported that the new temporary housing will be equipped with everything you need: a refrigerator, cooking panels, washing machines.
- The blocks have already begun to be installed on the territory of the modular city. Thanks to this, there will be 18 additional beds, three bathrooms, three rooms for providing and receiving medical care.
- The houses will have all the necessary household appliances, in particular refrigerators, cooking panels, washing machines.
- Also, the Czech government has allocated about 10 million CZK in financial assistance.
- Back in October, the construction of a modular town for 300 IDPs began in Chernivtsi. The houses were provided by a German fund. The project also provides for the construction of a playground and a grocery store, said the mayor of Chernivtsi Roman Klichuk.
