On the morning of November 20 in Chernivtsi, on Malanchuk Street, a BMW car crashed into a tree. As a result of the accident, the 22-year-old driver of the car and his two passengers, 19 and 20 years old, died.
According to preliminary police data, the cause of the tragic accident was excessive speed; the driver lost control on a wet road and collided with a tree.

Based on the fact of the traffic accident, criminal proceedings have been initiated under Part 3 of Art. 286 of the Criminal Code (violation of road safety rules or operation of transport by persons driving vehicles).
Currently watching
Investigators from the regional department of the National Police, patrol police and rescuers are working at the scene of the accident.
