In Chernihiv, sappers defused a heavy-duty aerial bomb. The shell did not explode when the invaders attacked the bridge that connected Kyiv and Chernihiv.
The bomb had to be detonated at the bottom of the river
Today, submarine sappers examined the bridge over the Desna destroyed by the Russians, connecting Chernihiv with Kyiv. From the first days of the war, the Russians fired on the bridge across the Desna to cut off Chernihiv from the capital. Andrey Lagutin, the head of the training center of the State Special Transport Service, noted.
One of these bombs did not detonate, it hung on electric poles, and then fell into the waters of the river.
Divers-sappers of the State Special Service transport almost by touch found a 500-kilogram bomb and detonated it on the spot, because it is dangerous to move such shells.
Pay attention! In the State Emergency Service reported that 300,000 square meters of territory would have to be checked for explosives in Ukraine. Explosives are doing their best to survey the settlements.
