Bodies of murdered Ukrainians on the street in Bucha/Office of the President
In Bucha, the process of exhuming the bodies of those killed as a result of the Russian occupation continues. At least 412 people are known to have died because of the Russian invaders.
So far, investigators and experts are working in the Bucha community. You have to work without days off. Consequently, the figure of 412 dead is not yet final. The count of the wounded is also underway.
A mass grave near the Church of St. Andrew the First-Called on Bogdan Khmelnitsky Street, 7-b, where a total of 117 bodies were received, including 30 women and 2 children, was singled out as a separate file.
“They were killed, shot and tortured by the occupiers, there are burnt bodies of civilians. There are hospital patients who could not be buried after February 24, because the Russians did not allow the funeral service at the cemetery. There are several guys from the Armed Forces of Ukraine”, – said the mayor of Bucha Anatoly Fedoruk.
At the same time, the process of identifying the dead continues. The morgue has an information center that helps relatives find, identify and bury their loved ones.
