The inhabitants of Bucha and Gostomel were engaged in looting. They entered private homes, stealing household appliances, tools, personal belongings, bicycles.
Law enforcement officers caught the attackers. Residents of the Kiev region who were engaged in looting were announced on suspicion.

According to the investigation, in Bucha and Gostomel, local residents entered private houses. There they stole household appliances, tools, valuables, personal belongings, bicycles and other property of citizens.
The attackers were taken into custody
All 9 involved in looting were detained. The prosecutors of the Buchansk District Prosecutor's Office informed them of suspicion of committing theft under martial law.
So far, 8 suspects have chosen preventive measures in the form of detention. The issue of the arrest of another defendant is still being decided.
The sanction of the article provides for up to 8 years in prison.
