On the evening of Friday, April 26, an accident occurred in the center of Brovary, Kyiv region, as a result of which four people were seriously injured, including a child.
Before the police arrived, witnesses to the accident gathered at the scene of the accident to prevent the driver from escaping.

The chairman of the Brovary regional military administration, Vladimir Maibozhenko, was driving a Volvo vehicle.

Reaction of Kyiv OVA
The head of the Kyiv OVA Ruslan Kravchenko stated on his Facebook that Maibozhenko will be fired.
— This is the only right step after the terrible incident that occurred in Brovary. Such behavior by an official is unacceptable! — he emphasized.
According to Kravchenko, he will also appeal to law enforcement officials to conduct an objective and independent investigation into all the circumstances of the accident.

What is known about the victims
Among those who found themselves under the wheels of Maibozhenko’s car are a 32-year-old woman with a 2.5-year-old daughter, as well as men 26 and 29 years old.
Doctors diagnosed the child with a fracture of the humerus and a subcutaneous hematoma of the occipital area of the head.
For the remaining victims: polytrauma, closed craniocerebral injury, injuries and fractures of the coccyx, collarbone, shoulder, scapula, nasal bone, ribs, limbs, multiple bruises and abrasions.
All of them are in the Brovary intensive care hospital.
