Under the rubble people ended up in Belgorod/Russian media

Russian media have already classically accused the Ukrainian army of everything. According to propagandists, the shell hit the house directly. The Investigative Committee of Russia has already issued a statement in which it claims that it will investigate “the latest crimes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine against civilians.” The Russians opened a criminal case about a “terrorist attack”.

However, the chairman of the Center for Police Action, Andrei Kovalenko, noted that the house in Belgorod could have been blown up, because the videos published from the cameras did not show falling objects. This is quite similar to a provocation by Russia to justify further attacks on the houses of Ukraine. Also, according to Kovalenko, one should not exclude the version with a domestic explosion.

Subsequently, the Russian authorities decided to report on the “successfully repelled attack.” According to them, the house was damaged by debris, but the possibility of Russian “famous air defense” should not be ruled out. After all, more than once Russian systems that the enemy places in residential areas unsuccessfully aimed at civilian houses during attempts to repel an attack.
