US Secretary of State Antony Blinken believes that there is no need to waste time discussing Donald Trump's idea of taking control of Greenland.
He said this during a press conference with French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noël Barre in Paris.

According to Blinken, over the past four years, the US administration has tried to cooperate with allies, rather than make statements or certain actions that could push them away.

Recently, the newly elected US President Donald Trump announced his desire to take control of Greenland — Danish territory and the largest island in the world.
At the same time, Trump does not rule out the possibility of using military force to take control of Greenland or the Panama Canal.
In response, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said that Greenland belongs to its residents.
