The wife of the defender of Mariupol told her story as part of the SVOI project. I remember leaving at the end of March. First we got to Zaporozhye. Then they went to Lvov in a crowded compartment.
We were met by our son. He has been living here (in Lviv – Channel 24) since 2015. He studied in Kharkov, but bought an apartment here with his daughter-in-law, they have 2 kids. We moved here to live and work. I hugged him and you know, I realized that this is such a kindred spirit of yours, dear child, – the woman remembered.
Later, a daughter from Kyiv came to the woman a little. In Lviv, Oksana and two friends opened a flower shop.
The woman said that Lviv is an incredible city for her, where incredible people live.
“They are kind, they go forward. They have how open the souls are! They are a little slower than we are, but maybe it’s good. Because they are open, they help and don’t think about it. They don’t have any benefit from it, but they help. So many. people … The city authorities, neighbors help me” , – Oksana recalled.
Added that when the man returns from captivity, he will decide where they will live.
