Law enforcement officers are simultaneously conducting more than a thousand searches throughout Ukraine in cases of organizing the illegal sale and storage of weapons.
The press service of the National Police of Ukraine reports this.
Large-scale searches for illegal weapons
It is noted that more than 1000 simultaneous searches are being conducted by operatives of the DKR, DVR, investigators of the National Police together with employees of the prosecutor's office.

The main goal — blocking distribution and storage channels, as well as seizing captured weapons, ammunition and explosives from illegal circulation.
According to the National Police, the organizers and participants in these channels could face up to seven years in prison.
Details of the special operation will be made public after all investigative actions are completed.
We would like to remind you that law enforcement officers recently conducted a special operation to expose the illegal sale of weapons in four regions of Ukraine.
As a result of the special operation, it was possible to seize, in particular: Russian Kalashnikov assault rifles with an Ochag underbarrel grenade launcher, a batch of fragmentation grenades and explosives.
According to the SBU, 15 dealers were detained during the special operation. All of the detainees are currently in custody. They face up to 7 years in prison.
