Biography of Igor Klymenko
Igor Klymenko was Sergei Knyazev's deputy for almost two years, having gone through a long career path from a psychologist at the center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to a person in charge of staffing in the police.
Igor Vladimirovich Klimenko is 50 years old (born October 25, 1972). Hometown – Kyiv. Graduated from Kharkov Military University, served in a missile military unit. He graduated from the Odessa State University in absentia and received the qualification of a psychologist.
He has served in the authorities for 25 years. He started as a psychologist at the Center for Practical Psychology of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in 1998, and a year later he became a senior psychologist. Then he was an employee of the Special Peacekeeping Center.
For four months in 2002, he took part in a peacekeeping operation on the territory of the Republic of Yugoslavia in Kosovo. Then, for two years, he headed the department of professional psychological selection at the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region.
Two years later, in 2004, he became the chief psychologist of the Center for Practical Psychology of the Department of Work with Personnel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, and four more years later, he became the head .

From 2008 to 2015, he held various positions in the Human Resources Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, in November 2015 he headed it.
In 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in Donbas. In the same year he graduated from the Dnepropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs with a degree in Jurisprudence.
Half a year after the appointment of Sergey Knyazev as the chief police officer of Ukraine, Klymenko became his deputy – head of the Personnel Department. From March 2018 until his appointment as head of the National Police, he was Knyazev's deputy. Part-time worked as a teacher at the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

According to the declaration, Igor Klymenko has an apartment in Kyiv with an area of 67 square meters and two land plots in the Boryspil district with a total area of more than 1800 square meters. m.
