Russia will succeed in its war against Ukraine unless the United States continues to support Kyiv.
This was stated by US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin during a speech at a hearing in the Senate Appropriations Committee.
They related to President Joe Biden's request for $106 billion to fund aid to Ukraine, Israel and protect American borders. The request must be considered by the US Congress.

Republican Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell has strongly backed the White House's $106 billion aid proposal for Israel and Ukraine. He has rejected proposals from some Senate GOP colleagues to split aid for the two countries.
McConnell noted that such a decision “would be a mistake.”
What the White House proposes and the position of Congress
On October 20, US President Joe Biden introduced a $106 billion request to Congress. It provides for the allocation of $61.3 billion for Ukraine within a year and about $14 billion for Israel.
However, this proposal did not find consensus among Republicans in the US House of Representatives. Speaker Mike Johnson said that issues of military assistance to Ukraine and Israel should be considered separately.
