If the US Congress does not approve additional aid to Ukraine, only Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and Chinese leader Xi Jinping will be happy.
This was stated by British Foreign Secretary David Cameron during a speech at the Aspen Security Conference in Washington.
– We must transfer this money to the Ukrainians, we must support them and make sure that Putin loses. Because if these funds are not approved (in the US Congress, — Ed.), only two people will smile. One of them is Vladimir Putin in Moscow. The other is Xi Jinping in Beijing. And I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to give either of them a Christmas present,” Cameron noted.
He added that the current generation faces a great test and challenge – the defense of democracy.
