When advanced units cannot hold back the counteroffensive pressure of the other side and do not have enough ammunition, fuel and lubricants, forces, and also do not rotate, their defense begins to collapse. Oleksandr Kovalenko, a military-political observer for Information Resistance, told this on air on Channel 24.
He noted that if the command does not give the order to retreat and the military remain in their positions, then they may be captured.

Why? Because they are surrounded. It is logical, it is rational, it is predictable,” Alexander Kovalenko said.
According to him, the Russian command has always understood what is happening in the Kherson region, and what chances they have to keep this territory. However, they did not give an order to their advanced units to retreat, to run away.
“This says a lot about the attitude of the Russian command towards the military. We already know this – like meat,” Alexander said Kovalenko.
He added that if there is no order to retreat from the Russian command to their advanced units, then we will see a large number of prisoners. Also, the expert does not rule out situations of cordoning off the occupiers.
