Russia should by no means be allowed to win the war. Then it will untie the hands of all the autocrats in the world who want to seize new territories and destroy peoples.
Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the President's Office, wrote about this on his Twitter page. According to him, joint efforts should stop the aggressor. If this is not done, the whole world will be in danger.
Let Russia win – open Pandora's box
If the civilized West allows Russia to win the war against Ukraine, then humanity will literally plunge into the dark ages. All the autocrats of the world will start provoking territorial conflicts, “tearing off” territories and committing genocide of peoples.
This can still be prevented – we need to help Ukraine more. Time is running fast, so you need to hurry.
Letting Russia win will open a Pandora's box and send humanity back to the dark ages. Every hypocritical autocrat will be able to provoke territorial conflicts, seize countries, destroy peoples. Stopping Russia is the common mission of civilized countries. There is still time, but it's time to hurry, – wrote Mikhail Podolyak.
Russia is trying to undermine the unity of the West
Now various Russian agents of influence are trying to throw in harmful opinions in order to weaken support in the international arena. Among such narratives is the baseless claim that Ukraine is being given too much attention in the West.
Russian invaders are literally trying to “weigh” various world tragedies.
“Why world pays more attention to Ukraine than to Africa and the East? – such a narrative is promoted by agents of influence. Only Russian barbarians can weigh tragedies on the scales. The war in Ukraine is not a local conflict or a humanitarian crisis. It is a question of what the world will be like tomorrow,” Podolyak stressed.
- Let us add that in the West from time to time outrageous ideas are heard, according to which Ukraine must give up part of the territories in order to “quench the appetite” of Russia. In particular, this was stated by the former US Secretary of State, 99-year-old Henry Kissinger. He believes that Ukraine should start negotiations with the aggressor “before the war causes shock and tension that will not be easy to overcome.”
- President Volodymyr Zelensky aptly responded to Kissinger. He stressed that the impression is that Mr. Kissinger now has 1938 instead of 2022 on his calendar. And he is not sitting in Davos, but in Munich. Zelensky alludes to the Munich Agreement, according to which the civilized world gave Hitler the Sudetenland to appease his appetites. Everyone knows how it all ended.
- Ukraine is not averse to continuing negotiations with Russia. But only on the condition that the Kremlin stops acting hypocritically (saying one thing, doing another) and leaves the south of the country and withdraws its troops.
