The President of Poland responded to the statement of Volodymyr Zelensky that Russia is preparing strikes on nuclear infrastructure. Andrzej Duda said that Warsaw should intervene in the event of attacks.

The RAR publication wrote about the level of intervention at which the President of Poland spoke. After all, Slovakia said that it will regularly measure the level of radiation.

What Duda says about actions due to the threat of attacks on nuclear power plants

Andrzej Duda noted that Russia has already attacked the Zaporizhzhya NPP and the inoperative Chernobyl NPP. Fortunately, this did not lead to a nuclear disaster.

There is a risk of attacks on other power plants – Rivne or Khmelnytskyi – and we must take this into account. If there are attacks, we will have to immediately intervene and call in experts, – said the President of Poland.

By the way, Volodymyr Zelensky said at the UN General Assembly that Russia is preparing strikes on nuclear infrastructure.

The Ukrainian leader noted that if, God forbid, Russia causes a nuclear disaster at one of our nuclear power plants, then radiation does not respect state borders. Then, unfortunately, different countries may experience devastating consequences.
