Ukraine would like China to put pressure on Russia, and not just be a mediator.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said this in an interview with the French publication Le Monde.
— If China wants, it can force Russia to stop this war. I would like China to do more than just be a mediator. I would like (China, — Ed.) to put pressure on Russia to stop the war. The same way the United States puts pressure. The same way the European Union puts pressure. And the more influence a country has, the more pressure it needs on Russia. In wartime, when there is an aggressor, you cannot position yourself as a mediator, — said the head of our state.
Zelensky on the US elections
Zelensky was asked what steps his administration is taking to prepare for the possible return of Donald Trump to the White House.

He added that if Kamala Harris wins the presidential election, the Democratic Party will be in power.
— If it is Donald Trump… My team spoke with his team and I spoke with him. Again, we do not know today what our dialogue will consist of. In the past, it was quite appropriate, but we do not know what will happen after the elections (November 5, — Ed.). I think we will still have a majority in Congress when it comes to supporting Ukraine, — said Zelensky.
